Due date for income tax return filing amended

There have been several changes in the TDS return format, as well as the Form 16 filing process; including due date changes for the issuance of Form 16.

To compensate for these amendments, and to avoid misses from tax-payers, the due date for return filing (ITR) has been extended until the 31st of August 2019 (Previously 31st July 2019).

To avoid penalty pertaining to non-filing, tax-payers must ensure that they file their returns on or before 31st August 2019.
